Special to the Tribune

With more emphasis being placed on accomplishing one's purpose and destiny, Cedric Dukes, a former resident of Lewisburg, has released his second book, "The Power of Time."

The book is Dukes' second. He also wrote "Hostile Takeover - Manifesting God's Plan and Purpose for Your Finances." Dukes, his wife, Esterlene, and their children, Preston and Charlene, live in Shelby Township, Mich. He is the son of Roy and Louise Dukes of Lewisburg.

"The Power of Time" is written to challenge one's perspective to achieve their purpose through time management. In his book, Dukes asks the question, "What are you doing with your time?" There are 24 hours in a day; the same as for anybody in the world. Your effectiveness on earth is measured by what you do or do not manifest. Your entire life is dependent on the decisions that you make and the time you take to complete them. You must make the most of every opportunity.

"The Power of Time" is a tool to help the reader to reach that next level of achievement through time management. It has to be practiced every day, every hour, every minute, and every second. Success is not a one-time event, but it is a completed succession of events that happens on a daily basis. You can buy "The Power of Time" at
