Funerals scheduled for Lewis Wayne Ketchum and Jimmie Pope

The family of Lewis Wayne Ketchum will be at London Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, for visitation. Graveside services for Mr. Ketchum will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 in Short Cemetery.

The family of Jimmie Pope will be at Cornersville Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, for visitation. Funeral services for Mrs. Pope will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mars Hill Cemetery.

Jimmie Pope, 86, of Cornersville, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in NHC Lewisburg Healthcare.

Mrs. Pope was a native of Giles County, and daughter of the late James W. and Elizabeth Chapman Holley. She was a homemaker and member of the Cornersville First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Holley, James Holley, and Johnny Holley, and sister, Sadie Edwards.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Pope of Cornersville; son, Larry Pope of Lawrenceburg; two daughters, Linda Baker of Cedar Hill and Suzanne Boatright of Cornersville; three sisters, Sara Brantley of Nashville, Lucy Foster of Madison, and Ruby Austin of Ashland City; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lewis Wayne Ketchum, 60, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 in Nashville.

Mr. Ketchum was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Warner L. Ketchum and Mrs. Bertie Louise Bass Ketchum of Lewisburg.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warner Ketchum, and brother, James Ketchum.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Larry Ketchum of Chapel Hill; and two sisters, Lonnie Garrard of Belfast and Brenda Kay Robison of Murfreesboro.
