Thefts and vandalism reported

* Sometime between Jan. 2 and 12, $4,855-worth of items were taken from Harmon Scrap Metal. They included three Stihl weedeaters, two drills, 600 pounds of scrap copper, 500 pounds of scrap brass and a box of nails.

* On Jan. 10, between 6 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., someone broke into a home on Marshall Street and took a Hewlett Packard laptop worth $600 and an LG enV cell phone worth $200. Damage to the door was estimated at $50.

* Between 5 p.m. Jan. 9 and 5:30 a.m. Jan. 10, someone ran through the fence of a property on Delina Road, Petersburg, doing an estimated $300-worth of damage. The property owner gave Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Freddie Darnell an emblem that appeared to have come off a Toyota vehicle

* The resident of a home on Gillespie Road, Chapel Hill, reported that on Jan. 11 he heard someone trying to break in the back door of his house.

* Michael R. Arns, 23, 4th Avenue North. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 6. The side window of a Chevy Cavalier, worth $300, was broken during the altercation.

Arrested and charged with driving on a revoked license

* Fletcher R. Manning III, 41, Verona Caney Road. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 13.

* Gary D. Jones, 52, West Commerce Street. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 13. This is allegedly Jones' sixth offense of driving on a revoked license. He was also cited for no proof of insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.

* Tammy M. King, 41, Finley Beech Road. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 6.

Arrested and charged with public intoxication

* Carneal O. Marks, 26, Maple Street. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 6.

* Dorothy T. Fodge, 30, Belfast. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 7.

Arrested on two warrants for violation of community corrections

* Christopher D. Rogers, 32, Saint Anne Street. Held without bond for court on Jan. 18.

Arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant

*Larry D. Reeves Jr., 40, Thomas Avenue. Bond: $1,000; court date: Jan. 24.

* Nathan E. Montgomery, 63, Nashville. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 14.

* Kevin Dewayne Stinnett, 35, 7th Avenue. Held without bond for court on Jan. 17. Additional charge: violation of probation.

* Brianne Lee Dale, 31, Pulaski. Bond and court date not stated.
