Mamie Trice, 97, of the Pottsville Community, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, in Lewisburg.
Mrs. Trice was born in the Hardison Mill Community of Maury County and was a daughter of the late David Lee Davis and Alta Bell Cole Davis Moore. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Old Lasea Church of Christ in the Pottsville Community.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Vashie Bell Crick and Margaret Melody, and a brother, Howard Davis.
Mrs. Trice is survived by her husband of 77 years, Fred Trice of Pottsville; son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Jo Ann Trice of Chapel Hill; grandsons, Fred (Susan) Trice of Jacksonville, Fla. and Stephen Trice of Gallatin; great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Ben, Hannah and Derek; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 29, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Kenny McFarlen officiating. Graveside services were conducted Monday, Jan. 30, at Ring Cemetery in the Pottsville Community.
Fred Trice, Stephen Trice, Brian Trice, Ben Trice, Derek Trice, Tom Crick Jr., Dan Crick, David Davis, and Kenny Davis served as pallbearers.
