Birdie Warren Coble, 95, passed away on Sunday evening, Feb. 12, 2012, at her home in Village Manor in Lewisburg.
Birdie was born in Scuba, Miss., the daughter of Felix Eugene and Birdie Morrison Warren. She was married for 61 years to W.H. "Bill" Coble Sr. who preceded her in death in 1999. Together, Bill and Birdie owned and operated the Lewisburg Western Auto Store for over 40 years, later retiring in Okeechobee, Fla., for 20 years, before returning to Lewisburg.
Her survivors include her son, W.H. "Billy" Coble Jr. (Marsha) of Lewisburg; a daughter, Judy Coble Woodward (Tommy) of Waltersboro, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Coble began Tuesday, Feb. 14, and continues from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund at the First Presbyterian Church, 122 2nd Avenue North, Lewisburg, TN.
