B.W. Clift, 89, of Cornersville, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Mr. Clift was a native of Giles County, and son of the late Bunyan Wright and Maggie Woodward Clift. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier in Cornersville for 28 years, manager for the City of Cornersville for several years, and was a well-known carpenter. He was a member of the Cornersville United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Frances Taylor Clift of Cornersville; daughter, Colleen (Richard) Fawcett of Canfield, Ohio; son, Kyle (Laura) Clift of Lake Stevens, Wash.; two grandsons, Taylor Clift and Austin Clift, and a granddaughter, Sara Clift, all of Lake Stevens, Wash.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
