Robert M. Howard

Robert M. "Bubba" Howard, 71, of College Grove, died Sunday evening, Feb. 26, 2012, in Nashville.

Mr. Howard was born in Williamson County and was a son of the late Robert Anderson and Leslie Pauline Cole Howard. He was a retired licensed plumber and was a member of the Shelby Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville.

Mr. Howard is survived by a daughter, Melissa Diane McGowan of Oak Grove, Ky.; sons, Chris Howard of Sharpsville, Ind. and Jonathan Howard of Hearne, Texas; sisters, Frances Brooks of Nashville, Edna Pearl Roberts of Lewisburg, Roma Jean Perry of Nashville, and Alma Sneed of College Grove; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Burial will follow in Reed-Walker Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
