A native of Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late Nissie L. Bradley and John Groves England. She and her husband owned a dairy farm in Campbellsville. Mrs. Tomlinson was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank England and Olon England, along with a brother-in-law, Gene Parrish.
Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Auston Tomlinson of Lewisburg; one daughter, Vickie (David) Edwards of Murfreesboro; two sons, Kerry (Kristy) Tomlinson of Columbiana, Ala. and Hal (Rhonda) Tomlinson of Sevierville; one brother, Wayne (Bambi) England of Columbia; and one sister, Catherine Parrish of Lewisburg. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tomlinson will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Sunset Park Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Friday, March 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and continue at 11 a.m. Saturday.
