After Forrest starting hurler Ryan Yelensky struck out the side in the top of the first inning in game one, Forrest sent 20 batters to the plate in the bottom of the inning and scored 16 times to put the game on ice early.
Landon Jones started the big inning, bashing a three-run shot over the left field fence and later added another run-scoring double in the frame.
Alex Brewer added a three-run triple, Jordan Jent drove home three Forrest runners with a bases-loaded double, and Yelensky added a two-run double to finish off the 16-run inning.
The Bulldogs also did not help their cause as they committed seven errors in the inning and hit two Forrest batters.
Yelensky picked up the win on the hill for the Rockets.
In game two, Forrest continued the first inning offensive outbreak, scoring 14 times to put the contest away again at an early stage.
Landon Jones picked up the win on the mound, pitching the first inning, and at the plate, Jones went 2-2 with two RBIs.
Yelensky had a perfect 2-2 performance at the dish and scored twice, Peyton Sisk scored three runs, Brewer went 1-2 with two runs scored and an RBI, Boone Sweeney bashed a two-run triple, and Marshall McKee drove home two runs with one hit in two at-bats for FMS.
Also adding to the big tally was Brayden Gentry, who knocked home a deuce and pitched the third inning.
Jesse Pruitt had one hit, two RBIs and scored twice, Luke Cunningham knocked in two runs with one hit, and scored once, Jonathan Lykins added one RBI on one hit, Kain Harrison scored three runs and had an RBI, and Dustin Deason rounded out the scorebook scoring with an RBI and one run scored.
Cornersville's Nate Huitt had one hit, scored once, and drove home a run, while Aaron Fox had the other Bulldog hit and scored a run.
