Bobby Ray Ring, 70, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, in Lewisburg.
He was born in Maury County, and was a graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill, Mr. Ring served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Formerly he worked at Genesco Inc. in Lewisburg, and presently was a line worker for Moon Products of Lewisburg.
Mr. Ring was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Ring and Joe "Jabo" Ring, and a sister, Ann Cooper.
Mr. Ring is survived by his wife, Illa Ring of Lewisburg; son, Ramie Ring of Lewisburg; and sister, Nona Skinner of Holts Corner.
Visitation with the family will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Sonny Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Lewisburg.
Pallbearers will include David Perryman, Ronnie Ring, Steve Skinner, Kenny Ring, Craig Owens, Doug Owens, and Jeff Towry.
