Frank Haislip, 97, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at Marshall Medical Center,
Mr. Haislip was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late John Thomas and Annie Bell Walls Haislip. He was a carpenter, logger and farmer.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Haislip; sons, Larry Haislip and Arliss Haislip; and sisters, Annie Mae Haislip Patton and Lucille Haislip Brewer.
Survivors include daughters, Glaphery Haislip and Deborah (Ronnie) Brown, both of Petersburg, June (Donnie) Lynch of Unionville, Gail Long of Shelbyville, Zeldra (Doug) Buchanan of Fayetteville, and Sherry (Tom) McCue of Petersburg; sons, Atlee Haislip and Naybob Haislip, both of Lewisburg, Tommy (Dottie) Haislip and Gary (Marylin) Haislip, both of Petersburg, and Frankie (Brenda) Haislip of Fayetteville; 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mr. Frank Haislip were conducted Sunday, May 6, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Pope and Bro. Ricky Crabtree officiating. Burial followed in Talley Cemetery.
