Sadie Hardison Harper
Sadie Hardison Harper, 76, of 977 Galloway Street, Lewisburg passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Harper was a native of Marshall County and was the daughter of the late Marcus Hardison and Sarah Hill Hardison. She was a member of Church Street Church of Christ and was the secretary and bookkeeper for 40 years at Sharp Motor Company.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, J. W. Harper of Lewisburg; one son, Duane (Amanda) Harper of Lebanon; two daughters, Cindy (Ben) Varnado of Charleston, S.C. and Sandra Clark of Nashville. Also surviving are one sister, Marie McAnally of Nashville, and one brother, David (Elizabeth) Hardison of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harper were held Thursday, May 10, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Kyle Bolton officiating. Burial took place at Sunset Park Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Tennessee Childrens Home, Spring Hill, TN or St. Jude Children's Hospital Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
