Mrs. Ratcliffe was a native of Bedford County, and daughter of the late Raleigh Amos and Frona Edna Cannon Holden. She was a homemaker and farmer and member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ratcliffe, in 2002; two sisters, Rebecca Logan and Evie Lee Phifer; and two brothers, Reverend Wesley Holden and James L. Holden.
She is survived by two sons, James Michael Ratcliffe and Paul Timothy Ratcliffe, both of Cornersville; and two sisters, Eunice (Walter) Sharp of Ft. Valley, Va. and Emma Dean Lindsey of Atmore, Ala.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday and from noon until the funeral hour Saturday for visitation.
