Thomas Edward Poarch

Thomas Edward Poarch, 68, of Belfast, died Thursday, May 31, 2012. A native of Lewisburg, Mr. Poarch was a son of the late Golie Poarch and Lily Ball Poarch. He was a self-employed owner of a sanitation disposal service.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Poarch of Belfast; two sons, Carey Gower of Chapel Hill and Duane Hobby of Lewisburg; two sisters, Alice Newton of Pulaski and Sue Barnes of Lewisburg; a brother, Ned Poarch of Belfast; grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
