Mike Lopiccolo, 54, of Chapel Hill, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2012, in Chapel Hill.
He was born in Port Huron, Mich., and was a son of the late Mary Ann Verlinde and Samuel Lopiccolo. Mr. Lopiccolo was a veteran of the United States Army. Currently, Mr. Lopiccolo was the owner and operator of U Roll Em Tobacco Shop in Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Jowers, and his parents.
Mr. Lopiccolo is survived by his wife, Jan Lopiccolo of Chapel Hill; two daughters, Katrina Mendoza Amador of Nashville and Ashley Lopiccolo of Pulaski; three grandchildren, Alexis, Zulema, and Christopher; three sisters; three brothers; two stepsisters; and two stepbrothers.
Family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Larry Chatman officiating.
