Florence Hopkins Norris, 100, of Cullman, Ala., formerly of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Victorian Manor in Hanceville, Ala.
Mrs. Norris was born in the Rich Creek Community on Nov. 3, 1911, to Carlton and Fannie Parsons Hopkins. She retired from Butler Brothers Hardware and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Douglas Norris; son, Carlton Norris; and brother, Charles Hopkins.
She is survived by one son, Russell Norris, and daughter-in-law Barbara, of Martin, Tenn.; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted by Mark Irvin at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, from the First United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
