Picture yourself and a group of good friends playing nine holes of golf on a warm afternoon followed by cocktails and appetizers.

This is the scene every Monday evening at Saddle Creek Golf Club as the Ladies Golf Association (LGA) gets their season up and running.

The Saddle Creek LGA was formed in May of 2012 and is a time for ladies of all ages and playing abilities to come together for a fun afternoon of golf.

The format is best-ball which allows for quick playing time and fun competition, and the pairings are randomly drawn which ensures you're making new friends every week.

Entry every week is just $5 and cash prizes are given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

Along with the 9 holes of golf beginning at 5:30 p.m. every Monday, the ladies enjoy coming in for cocktail specials and appetizers provided by Saddle Creek.

Patty Richmond of Lewisburg states, "We're getting more and more members every week, and we encourage everyone to come out. It's a really fun group and we're out there just to have a great time. You get to meet new people every week, and we've already doubled in size since May."

If you're interested in joining the LGA or would like more information, please contact Tracy Northington at 931.270.7280, or email at See you at the course soon!
