12U Girls win in Tulahoma

Last weekend, The Marshall County 12U All Stars braved the heat and travelled to Tullahoma to take first place in the USGF Recreation Ball Summer Scramble State and World Qualifier. The girls will travel to Ridley Park in Columbia this weekend as they prepare for the Babe Ruth World Series in Alachua, Fla., beginning on Aug. 4. The 12U girls, coached by Danny Hollingsworth, will become the first girls' team from Marshall County to appear in a World Series.
