Cornersville's Makenzie Hopkins and Forrest's Adrean Jordan have been selected to the 2011-2012 Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) All-State squad.

Hopkins, a four-year letterman for the Lady Bulldogs and Motlow State signee was a member of the All-District 11-A team in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

In 2011-2012, Hopkins batted .545, had 25 RBIs, scored 22 runs, belted 3 homeruns, 15 doubles, and 3 triples.

In her four seasons with Cornersville, the Lady Dawgs posted a 95-46 record, won two District 11-A titles, one Region 6-A championship and made two state tournament appearances.

Jordan, a four-year letterman at Forrest and a Campbellsville University signee, led Forrest with a .471 batting average in 2011-012, had 43 RBIs, 11 doubles, 36 runs scored and a team high 5 homeruns.

Jordan was the District 9-A MVP in 2010-2011 and was a member of the All-District team in each of her last three seasons as a Lady Rocket.

Forrest compiled a 103-32-1 record with Jordan in the starting lineup, captured four District 9-A titles, one Region 5-A championship and made three trips to the Blue Cross Spring Fling.
