Mary James Wallace, 71, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wallace was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late James Calvin and Mary Elsie Leonard Edwards. She was an educator in the Marshall County School System for 41 years and, also taught at Middle Tennessee State University and Columbia State Community College. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Naaman Wallace of Lewisburg; one daughter, Amanda Moseley of Lewisburg; four sons, Byron Wallace of Bowling Green, Ky., Bryan Wallace of Scottsville, Ky., and Andy Wallace and Larry Bare, both of Lewisburg; and cousin, Ruth Cochran of Petersburg. Nine grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 30, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.

London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
