Lucille King Leverette, 78, of Chapel Hill, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012.
A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Leverette was a daughter of the late Carson and Minnie Sandlin King. She retired from Durango Boot Company as a shoe cutter and was a member of the Old Time Pentecostal Way Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. "R.C." Leverette, who died July 2, 2012, and by a son, Rusty Leverette.
She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Diane Ashley of Woodbury, Barbara Gail Marsh of Lewisburg, and Cynthia Marie Crowell of Chapel Hill; three sons, Rickey Glen Leverette of Manchester, and Michael Scott Leverette and David Carl Leverette, both of Chapel Hill; three sisters, Athleen Pulley of Lakeland, Fla., Shirley Faulk of Christiana, and Charlotte Goodwon of Shelbyville; 13 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery in Bedford County.
