W.T. "Dub" Walker
W.T. "Dub" Walker, 82, of Chapel Hill, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, in Williamson Medical Center.
Mr. Walker was a native of Camp Springs, Texas, and son of the late Robert Ervin and Beatrice Pearson Walker. He was a farmer and pastor of the Wilderness Faith Tabernacle. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Dee Walker and Jerry Blake Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Walker of Chapel Hill; two daughters; three sisters, Lil Rogers of Andrews, Texas, Bobbie Mabry of Manchester, N.H., and Lynn Walker of Alexandria, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in Shady Grove Cemetery near Flintville in Lincoln County.
