The reigning District 11A-AA and Region 6A-AA title holding Cascade Champions are off to red-hot start for the 2012 golf season, mowing down one opponent after another and on Tuesday, the Marshall County Tigers and Eagleville Eagles became their latest victims at Saddle Creek Golf Club in Lewisburg.

Cascade blew away the completion, shooting a four-man combined score of 159, eighteen strokes clear of the Tigers and 27 ahead of Eagleville.

Cascade's Jake Pimental led the Champions with a one-over par 37 to capture low round honors on the day.

Lucas Dunnavant was one stroke back of his orange and white clad teammates with a 38, Chad Gordon signed his scorecard for a 41 and Bryce Clinton, Tanner Burks and Mason Brewer each shot a seven-over par 43 to round out the Cascade scoring at the 6,285 yard Par 72 layout.

Marshall County (8-3) was led by Miller Sale, who shot a four-over par 40, lefty Austin Blade came home in 41 strokes, and Wilson Limbaugh and Carson Hill signed their scorecards with identical 48's.

Dakota Beech was low man for Eagleville, shooting a 44, Luke Davenport and Vince Zocco were both one stroke back at 45 and Ransom McRee had a 52 for the Eagles.

The Tigers will not be back on the links until Tuesday Aug. 28 when they host Summit and Hickman County at Saddle Creek.
