Former Marshall County resident, Maizelle Tucker Brown, 85, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Applingwood Healthcare in Memphis, Tenn.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in Mars Hill Cemetery near Lynnville, Tenn.

She was born Jan. 9, 1927, in Pulaski, to Benjamin and Dessa Tucker. She grew up on a farm; attended Cornersville High School and Columbia Business School. She worked for the FBI as a clerk typist and later at the National Institutes of Health.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn D. Brown, and her brother, Eugene Tucker.

She is survived by her daughter, Glynise Cox of Memphis; two grandsons, Ben Cox and Daniel Cox; and three great-grandsons.

Donations may be sent to Brinkley Heights Baptist Church, 3275 Rosamond Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38122 for their food pantry.
