On Wednesday at Henry Horton State Park's Buford Ellington course, FHS head coach Kyle Stacey said, "This was our best team score of the year for boys."
The Rockets' two top guns Blake Tansil and Gary Lukonen shot 37 and 38 respectively to lead Forrest to a second place finish behind district powerhouse Cascade.
Austin Nichols and Ty Hoeft carded respectable 47's, Brennan Huff shot 54 and Hawken King netted a 56.
Cascade was led by Chad Gordon and Mason Brewer, who shot identical 39's, Jake Pimental carded a 40, Lucas Dunnavant had a 42, and Bryce Clinton and Tanner Burks signed for a pair of 44's.
The Eagleville scores were Dakota Beech 43, Luke Davenport 46, Ransom McRee 47, Vince Zocco 52 and Austin Hargrove 52, while Joel Duke rounded out the Eagles scoring with a 57.
On the girls' side, Eagleville took the first place spot with a cumulative total of 103 with Brooklyn Snell leading the way with a 50, Kayla Stiles netted 53 and Nicole Duke needed 57 strokes on the afternoon.
Cascade finished second at with Shania Schneider shooting a 51 and Allison Massey 55.
Forrest tallied a 120 with Caitlin Burt shooting 57, Dani Hoeft had a 63, Alyssa Elliott netted a 64 and Maria Harris came home in 68 strokes.
