Mrs. Pallen Jordan, 88, of the Berlin Community, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Jordan was a native of Marshall County and a daughter of the late John I. and Janie Lee Truelove Carpenter. She was a homemaker and member of the Hickory Heights Church of Christ. She worked for several years in the Trustee's office in the Courthouse. She was a volunteer at Marshall Medical Center, and a member of the Farm Bureau Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wilson Jordan and grandson, Brent Jordan. She is survived by two sons, Ken Jordan of Lewisburg, and Ray Jordan of Pulaski; two daughters, Linda Prince of Lewisburg, and Donna Corlew of Kingston Springs; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Morton Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation and has said that memorials may be made to Marshall County Extension Office 230 College St., Lewisburg, TN 37091, or the Tennessee Foundation of AITC (Ag in the Classroom) P.O. Box 313 Columbia, TN 38402.
