Dewey Wayne Rowe, 65, of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Rowe was a native of Giles County, the son of the late Marvin Brown Rowe and Daisy Shelton Rowe, who survives. He was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church and a tool and die factory worker.
One sister, Orlene Foster, and three brothers, Dean, Roy Jr., and John, preceeded him in death.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters Cindy Little and Christy (Donald Wayne) Cole, both of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by eight sisters, Mary Jo Dunnivant, Martha Ann Thomason, Nadine Ragsdale, Linda Kay Dalton, Brenda Collins, and Jean Jett, all of Lewisburg, Marie Carter of Fayetteville, and Carolyn Cooley of Dresden, Tenn.; and two brothers, Paul Rowe of the Mooresville Community and Wendell Rowe of Pulaski.
Funeral services for Mr. Rowe will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Bubba Ray officiating. Burial will take place at Cochran Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from10 a.m. Wednesday until the funeral hour.
