Rodney Paul Craig
Rodney Paul "Ronny" Craig, 66, farmer and retired employee of Inter-City Products, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at his residence in Lewisburg.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Clifford Craig and Maple Harris Craig. He was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University with a focus on agriculture. A country boy at heart, he was very nature oriented and loved all aspects of farming. He especially enjoyed working in the hayfield and caring for his cows and chickens. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ during his formative years and had more recently attended Harvest Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Messick Craig of Lewisburg; two daughters, Stephanie Craig (Barry) Saucier of Thompson's Station and Suzanne Craig (Kurt) Swanson of Spring Hill; four grandchildren, Jonathan Saucier, Jacob Saucier, Clifford Swanson, and Austin Swanson; one brother, Dr. James (Bobbie) Craig of Minnesota; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 20, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Paul officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his grandsons and sons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers were former co-workers at ICP.
