Voters in Marshall County continue to show their support for the flexibility and convenience of early voting. Through the first seven days of the early voting period, 2,962 of voters have cast their ballots, compared to 2,825 votes cast during the same period in 2008.
"Marshall County voters are making it clear they want their voices to be heard in this election," said Administrator of Elections Tristan Arnold. "We are hopeful that the rest of the early voting period will be just as successful as our first few days."
The early voting period will continue through Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Marshall County Election Commission office at 230 College Street, Lewisburg. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to noon. Please contact the county election commission at 359-4894 for any questions or for more information.
