The Jr. Tigers got the opportunity to play on the Tennessee Titans LP field this past Sunday. They matched up against a tough 10 year old team from Coffee Co. and had a fun 20 minute scrimmage. Photo submitted

Eagles 31 Warriors 7

The Eagles fumbled on their first possession with Camren Hazel getting the recovery for the Warriors. The Warriors fumbled it back to the Eagles with Xavier Mosley covering up the loose ball. This time the Eagles offense got rolling and Demari Braden got into the endzone on a 52 yard TD run to make it 6-0. Peyton Cherry came up with a fumble recovery to set up the Eagles next score. D'Corian Jameson ran in an 18 yard TD to make it 12-0. Demari Braden put the Eagles on the scoreboard again in the 2nd quarter on a 30 yard TD run and then added the extra point run to make it 19-0 at halftime. Braden recovered a Warriors fumble to start the 2nd half but the Eagles turned it back over with AJ Jones recovering the loose ball for the Warriors. Braden put the Eagles on the scoreboard again in the 4th quarter reeling off 67 yards for the TD run to make it 25-0. The Warriors got on the scoreboard on the next play with Marcus O'Neal breaking free for a 60 yard TD run. AJ Jones added the extra point run to make it 25-7. Jones would recover another fumble to put the Warriors back on offense but after moving deep into Eagles territory Xavier Mosley covered up a loose ball to stop the drive and on the next play Braden scored his 4th TD of the day on a 60 yard run to give the Eagles a 31-7 win.

The Packers got on the scoreboard early with Antwon Cowthorn scoring on a 63 yard TD run. Carson Keiler added the extra point run to make it 7-0. Cowthorn put the Packers on the scoreboard again in the 2nd quarter with a 49 yard TD run to make it 13-0 at halftime. In the 3rd quarter Khalil Hill scored on a 20 yard TD run to make it a 19-0 win for the Packers.

Buckeyes 33 Bobcats 6

The Buckeyes are the 2012 Jr. Division Champions with their win over the Bobcats. Caneilus Turner put the Buckeyes on the scoreboard first with a 23 yard TD run and then added the extra point run to make it 7-0. The Bobcats scored in the 2nd quarter with Chaye McElroy going 29 yards for the TD to make it 7-6. The Buckeyes answered back with Caneilus Turner scoring on a 27 yard TD run and again adding the extra point run to make it 14-6 at halftime. In the 3rd quarter a blocked punt set up the Buckeyes next score by Kintarius Morris who broke free on the next play for a 54 yard TD run to make it 20-6. Morris would add another TD run in the 3rd scoring from 38 yards out. Caneilus Turner added the extra point run to make it 27-6. In the 4th quarter Hayden Sheppard scored on a 12 yard TD run to give the Buckeyes a 33-6 win. The Buckeyes finish with a 7-1 record and congratulations to Head Coach Jerry Johnson and his assistants Terri Gulley, Tim Fields, Shawn Hall, Roderick Tears, and Pinky Mayes on their outstanding season.

The Red Devils got on the scoreboard first with Wesley Walker scoring on a 15 yard TD run. KJ Johnson then passed to Kaleb Begley for the 2 point conversion to make it 8-0. KJ Johnson then recovered the onside kick to put the Red Devils back on offense and 4 plays later Walker found the endzone again on a 7 yard TD run to make it 14-0. In the 2nd quarter Mitchell Ford scored on a 3 yard run to make it 20-0. Wesley Walker got the Red Devils on the scoreboard again on a 29 yard run and KJ Johnson added the extra point run to make it 27-0 at halftime. A fumble recovery by Kevontez Allen set up the Red Devils next score in the 3rd quarter. Wesley Walker added his 4th TD of the day on a 36 yard run to make it 33-0. The Mustangs got on the scoreboard in the 4th with Lamarcus Dodson on a 4 yard TD run. Kavarus Tears added the extra point run to make it 33-7. KJ Johnson added a 1 yard TD run to make it a 39-7 win for the Red Devils who finish with a perfect 8-0 record and are the 2012 Senior Division Champs. The Red Devils are back to back Champions and congratulations go out to Head Coach Jerome Beasley and his staff of Roger Brown, Randy Clark, Thomas Beardsley, Josh Buttram, and Tanner Clark.

The Cowboys pulled off the onside kick to open the game with Silas Hurt getting the recovery.

Kel Greer made good on the turnover 5 plays later scoring a 6 yard TD run to make it 6-0. The Cowboys pulled off the onside kick again with Hunter Rolof getting the recovery and Javion Brown put the Cowboys on the scoreboard again with a 14 yard TD run to make it 12-0. The Tigers offense finally got on the field but a fumble recovery by Hunter Rolof stopped the drive.

A Cowboys fumble was covered up by Javarria Rucker and 3 plays later Rucker found the endzone on a 34 yard TD run to make it 12-6. The Cowboys offense continued to move the chains and Kel Greer scored on a 4 yard TD run and Silas Hurt added the extra point run to make it 19-6 at halftime. The Tigers pulled off the onside kick to start the 2nd half with Javarria Rucker getting the recovery but Kel Greer would come up with an interception to halt the Tigers drive. The Tigers would get on the scoreboard in the 3rd quarter with Rucker breaking free for a 59 yard TD run to make it 19-12. Christian Stacey came up with a fumble recovery and the Tigers made good on the turnover with Javarria Rucker scoring a 30 yard TD run to make it 19-18. The Cowboys extended their lead with Kel Greer scoring on a 27 yard TD run. Devonte Davis added the extra point run to make it 26-18. The Tigers answered back with Rucker scoring on a 47 yard TD run to make it 26-24. There were big plays all through the game but the biggest might have been on the Cowboys next possession. Facing a 3rd and 25 Devonte Davis broke free for a 65 yard TD run and then added the extra point run to make it 33-24. The Tigers worked quickly and Javarria Rucker added his 5th TD of the day on a 28 yard run. Christian Stacey then found Rucker in the endzone for the 2 pt. conversion to pull within a point 33-32 but the Cowboys needed only to kneel out the clock to secure the win. Both teams have had exciting seasons and will be sending a lot of sought out talent along with the Buckeyes to the Senior division next year.
