After losing big to undefeated Cascade on Thursday night in Wartrace, the FMS Rockets suffered their second straight lopsided road loss 58-22 at Liberty on Monday.

Forrest started quickly versus the Patriots and held a 6-3 lead after a Jacob Jones basket with just over two minutes to play in the first quarter.

It was all Liberty from that point on as the Patriots outscored the visiting Rockets 9-1 for the remainder of the period to lead 12-7 after the first six minutes of hardwood action.

Jacob Jones scored the final seven points for Forrest before the half ended with the home team leading 31-16.

It all went straight downhill at outset of the second half as the Patriots poured it on, outscoring the Rockets 17-2 in the third period to pull away for good.

The Rockets only scored four points in the fourth period to Liberty's ten and fell by the 36-point margin.

Houston finished with 14 for Liberty, while Jones led the Rockets with 9 points, Marshall McKee and Brad Corder each had four, Dustin Brashears and Colby Bluehart netted two points apiece and Dayton Ward finished with one marker.
