Patsy Whaley, 59, of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. Mrs. Whaley was born in Marshall County. She was a homemaker, a former nurse, and a former employee of Lewisburg Printing Corporation of Lewisburg. Mrs. Whaley was a member of Farmington United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Sharp, and by a grandson, Cody Carlton.
Mrs. Whaley is survived by her husband, Milton Whaley of the Farmington Community; children, Betty Jean (Bubba) Carlton of Lewisburg, Tammy (Charlie) Crosslin of Shelbyville, Brian Whaley of Lewisburg, and Elizabeth (Jeff) Morris of Shelbyville; father and mother, Roy Lee and Katie Campbell of Lewisburg; sisters, Judy (Jimmy) Williams of Belfast, Deloris Woods of Parsons, and Bobbie (Myron) Cheek of Belfast; brothers, Bill (Carol) McCall of Crump and James "Toad" (Lillian) Cashion of Lewisburg; sister-in-law, Caron Sharp of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Joshua Carlton, Matthew Carlton, Michael Whaley, Brianna Whaley, Cadence Whaley, Bryce Whaley, Jayden Whaley, and Richie Morris.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 16, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow in Whaley Cemetery in the Farmington Community.
Matthew Carlton, Jeff Morris, Charlie Crosslin, Andy Williams, Andy Cheek, and Jesse Whaley will serve as active pallbearers.
Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Chapel Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
