Thomas "Tommy" Jackson Crumley, 79, of Chapel Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012.
Mr. Crumley was born in Giles County, and was a son of the late Charles Allen and Ola-Mae Walls Crumley. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Tommy was a retired television repairman and was the former owner and operator of Tommy's TV Repair.
Mr. Crumley is survived by his wife, Carolyn Crumley of Chapel Hill; children, Tommy Crumley of Nashville, Jimmy Crumley of Dallas, Texas, Patricia Squires of Atlanta, Ga., Chris Crumley of Murfreesboro, Keith Brown of Nashville, Barry Brown of Lewisburg, Evan Brown of Chapel Hill, and Wayne Brown of Lewisburg; sisters, Mildred Prince of Shelbyville and Margaret Moore of Savannah, Tenn.; brother, Charles Crumley of Columbia; grandchildren, Bryan, Melanie, Thomas Allen, Danielle and Paige Crumley, Alex Squires, and Chad, Jennifer, Melanie, Amanda and Michael Brown; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Burial with Military Honors followed in Rocky Glade Cemetery, Eagleville.
Children and grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Chapel Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
