Glenda Frost Lamb, 74, of Chapel Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at her home in Chapel Hill.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Williamson County, and was a daughter of the late Clyde and Sarah Hayes Frost. She was a homemaker and retired from Lellyett and Rogers Company of Nashville where she worked as a secretary. Mrs. Lamb was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Eugene "Baby" Lamb, who died in April 2012; great-grandson, Jackson Bright Lamb; sister, Ailene Boatright; and brothers, Austin Frost and Clyde "Son" Frost Jr.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Brock of Lewisburg and Susan Wild of Chapel Hill; son, Kenneth R. Lamb of Chapel Hill; sisters, Betty Jean Marlin of Franklin, Ruth Dodd of College Grove, Pat Ghee of College Grove, Carolyn Haskins of Unionville, Vivian Scales of College Grove, Evelyn Ray of College Grove, and Katherine Marable of Mt. Juliet; brothers, Tommy Frost of Franklin, and Mark Frost of College Grove; grandchildren, Michael Lamb, Sara McAdams, Patrick Lamb, Amanda Chilton, Taylor Brock, Brooks Lamb, Layne Newcomb, and Kaley Newcomb; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Michael Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
