In the opener, Community inched out to a 12-11 lead in the first quarter before outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 10-8 in the second period to take a 22-19 advantage into the break.
After putting together a 15-9 run in the third quarter to push their lead to 37-28, the Viqueens (8-5) outscored Cornersville 14-13 in the fourth period to cap their 10-point victory.
Brittany Umbles led the Lady Bulldogs (9-3) with 13 points, while Kaitlyn Rogers tallied 11 points. Ashley Umbles also added nine points and Kaleigh Welch chipped in six points. Britton Stewart rounded out the scoring for Cornersville with two points.
Katie Leverette paced Community with 16 points and Kristen Brothers followed with 12 points. Hannah Busbee and Jordan Huntley notched six points apiece as well, while Mercedes Huntley had five points. Kaitlin Ensey and Kristin Ray also scored three points each for the Viqueens.
Coming off an impressive 59-48 win over Collinwood the previous day, the Bulldogs (2-10) were unable to carry that momentum into Friday's contest, as the Vikings (5-8) jumped out to a 17-10 lead in the first quarter prior to taking a 27-16 advantage into halftime.
Community then went on a 20-8 run in the third period to forge a 47-24 lead before outscoring Cornersville 20-16 in the fourth quarter to wrap up their 27-point win.
Chance Dalton, David Looney, and Zack Smith rounded out the scoring for Cornersville with two points each.
Tanner Simmons paced three Viking players in double figures with 14 points, while Luke Primm and Logan Pierce notched 11 and 10 points respectively.
Quinn Frost also scored eight points, and Blake Fanning, Zeke Grissom, and Darian Pride added six points apiece. Tyler Broiles and Taylor Paschal each tallied three points for Community as well.
