Loy Woodruff

Loy Woodruff of Cornersville passed away peacefully Monday evening, December 31st 2012 in the comfort of his Florida home.

After retiring from Westinghhouse Corporation he worked part-time for Waste Management Services as well as tending his farm in Cornersville.

He leaves behind his wife Maria of 62 years; four daughters, Christina Woodruff, Carmen Bierman, Connie McCullough, and Roberta Edge. He also leaves behind his sister, Mary Ann Sherman. Loy had seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Loy is preceded in death by his son, Mark Woodruff, and brother, William.

A memorial service honoring Loy will be held on January 12th, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Auburndale, Fla.

A memorial service will be held in Lewisburg and interment will be in Cornersville at a later date to be announced.
