Evelyn Smith Teague
Evelyn Smith Teague, 60, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013, in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Teague was the daughter of R. E. Hargis and the late Raymond Smith. She retired from medical administration and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Teague, and one son, Matthew Teague.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Teague is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Allen of Nashville and Angie Grissom of Franklin; two sisters, Wanda Warren of Columbia and Jean Wells of Shelbyville; and three brothers, Ed Smith of Lewisburg, Thomas Smith of Alabama, and Keith Smith of Columbia. Six grandchildren, Max Grissom, Brett Grissom, Ashton Teague, Emily Teague, Reid Allen, and Claire Allen, also survive her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Teague were held Monday, March 11, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rusty Trotter officiating. Burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.
