Lillian Sherrell Lambert Fikes

Lillian Sherrell Lambert Fikes, 84, of Sparta, formerly of Lewisburg, went home to her Lord, Sunday July 14, 2013, at the home of her son.

Mrs. Fikes was born Jan. 22, 1929, to the late Byrd and Della Stewart Sherrell. She was a retired beautician of 42 years and was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church, Lewisburg. She was loved by all who knew her and the family offers a special thank you to the employees of Hospice of Chattanooga.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands, James Manuel Lambert and Emmett Earl Fikes, and brother, Alvin H. Sherrell.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn L. Stauder of Lewisburg; son and precious daughter-in-law, Paul and Vanessa Lambert of Ooltewah; stepsons and wives, Ken and Sue Fikes of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Rick and Karen Fikes of Snellville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend, Letta Snodgrass of Sparta.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Saylors Cemetery. Ken Fikes will officiate.
