Missing Lewisburg teenager found in Nashville

The 15-year-old who has been missing from her home on Maple Street since Sept. 6 was found in Nashville on Sept. 14.

Lewisburg Police Officer Shawn Crawford was at the State Fair with his family on Saturday when he saw Jessica Marie Parham and alerted Metro Police.

"Jessica was in the company of a Hispanic male and the circumstances of her absence are being investigated," wrote Detective Sgt. David Henley in a press release. "Jessica will be reunited with her family and the Hispanic male has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is in custody at the Metro Criminal Justice Center and more charges are likely."

Jessica's family and the Lewisburg Police Department sincerely appreciate the public's assistance and would like to thank them for their attention to the issued alerts, Henley stated.
