Tommy Brown, 50, of Chapel Hill, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.
Mr. Brown was born in Wichita, Kansas. Tommy was a loving son, brother, dad, and papa. He was a graduate of Forrest High School Class of 1981, a member of the Chapel Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and worked in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward "Tom" Brown Sr. who died in July 2013.
Mr. Brown is survived by a daughter, Amanda (Dustin) Brown Jett of Belfast: son, Zach (Courtney) Brown of Lewisburg; mother, Elaine Brown of Chapel Hill; grandmother, Nadene Morgan of Chapel Hill; sisters, Linda Brown Galvin of Chapel Hill, Bonnie (Greg) Brown Spain of Chapel Hill, and Gina (Jamie) Brown Heintz of Unionville; five grandchildren, Avery Boucher, Cheyanne Boucher, Malia Brown, Wyatt Jett, and Haley Jett; and several nieces and nephews.
Family members will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Visitation will also be on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. until noon at the Chapel Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will immediately follow at noon at the church with Rev. Joe Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
