Mac Edward Blackwell

Mac Edward Blackwell, 61, of Bristol, Tenn., formerly of Chapel Hill, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 22, 2013, in Bristol.

Mr. Blackwell was born in Marshall County, and was a son of the late Albert Terry and Bernice Eggelston McElhaney Blackwell. He was a factory worker and former radio personality, working in both the Lewisburg and Columbia radio areas. Mr. Blackwell was a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Billy Blackwell.

Mr. Blackwell is survived by a daughter, Candace Blackwell of Spring Hill; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Reed-Walker Cemetery in the Lunns Store Community of Marshall County. Burial will immediately follow. There will be no visitation prior to services.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mac Edward Blackwell.
