Arrested and charged with attempted voluntary manslaughter

* Melinda A. Campbell, 47, Belfast. Bond: $15,000; court date: March 18. Campbell's victim was taken to Vanderbilt by helicopter ambulance on Feb. 22 after being stabbed in the arm and in the stomach during a domestic altercation. "I stabbed him," Campbell reportedly told Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Drew Binkley when he arrived at the home and found the victim slumped in a recliner.

* Katie R. Henderson, 43, Maple Street. Bond: $500; court date: April 7. Also cited for reckless driving.

* Jamey A. King, 39, Fayetteville Highway. Bond: $1,000; court date: March 11. Also charged with driving on a suspended license. King was later charged with aggravated domestic assault, and on this the bond is $7,500; court date: March 11.

* Craig Allen Sawyer, 51, Hixon, Tenn. Bond: $500; court date: April 14. Sawyer allegedly told Lewisburg Police Sgt. Chris Sawyers Joshua Good was not in the house, but Sawyers found Good hiding behind a bedroom door a few minutes later.

* Christopher G. Hayes, 28, Chapel Hill. Bond: $500; court date: March 4.

Arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespass

* Michael A. Johnson, 22, address unknown. Bond and court date not stated. According to the report by Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Lucas Holton, Johnson was found on Feb. 21 with no shirt or shoes on, beating on the doors and windows of a home on Old Columbia Road.

Thefts and vandalism reported

* A storage unit at Grover Collins Storage Facility was broken into, and property worth a total of $2,200 was taken. The missing items include a Samsung LED TV, a cedar chest, plastic tubs full of decorations, clothing and pictures, and a solid wood four-drawer chest.

* A man in Pennsylvania reported to Lewisburg Police Officer James Repasky his elderly father had been scammed out of $800, which he sent to an address on Mechanico Trail, Lewisburg.

* Sometime during the evening of Feb. 22, a vehicle ran through a fence at a property on Verona Caney Road, breaking the fence in two places and passing just 6 feet from the house. Pieces of the vehicle were found in the yard. Cost of repairing the fence and the damage to the yard was estimated at $800.

* Around 2 p.m. Feb. 18, a Model #M5290-18 Stihl chainsaw worth $150 was stolen from a property on Verona Road. About six months ago a 22-foot culvert pipe worth $420 was stolen from the same property, which a man from Nashville is working on.

* Between noon and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 14, someone entered an apartment on New Columbia Highway and took a gold and diamond ladies' ring worth $180 and $40 cash. The owner told Lewisburg Police Officer Dac Burrow he was visiting a neighbor and left his key in the door.

* Between Feb. 21 and 22, someone opened the hood of a Nissan truck and pulled the brake lines away from the firewall, and also damaged the passenger rear tire's valve stem. The truck was not at the owner's house, but was parked on Fox Lane at the home of a person it was loaned to. The valve stem will cost an estimated $25 to replace.
