Winfred Forrest Perryman

Winfred Forrest Perryman, 71, of the Cedar Grove Community of Bedford County, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.

Mr. Perryman was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Cecil Forrest and Estelle Crick Perryman. He was a member of the graduating Class of 1961 of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill. Mr. Perryman was a lifelong farmer and also owner and operator of Custom Dozier Service.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Perryman.

Mr. Perryman is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Rex) Bicknell of Chapel Hill and Lisa Almy of Shelbyville; two sons, Lonnie (Melissa) Perryman of Chapel Hill and Michael Perryman of Unionville; sister, Faye (Paul) Francher of Chapel Hill; brother, Troy (Janice) Perryman of Unionville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 23, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home, followed by burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
