The prep softball season opens up regular season play next week, but before the first pitch is thrown for real on Monday, all three county squads will make their annual trek to the Eaglette Rumble Play Day on Saturday in Shelbyville.

All three teams will open up play at 9 a.m. as the Marshall County Tigerettes take on Lincoln County, while Forrest plays Tullahoma and the Cornersville Lady Bulldogs match-up versus Community.

Cornersville catcher Carson Coble throws out a Lincoln County base runner at first.

At 10:20 a.m., Cornersville comes back with a game versus Murfreesboro Central Magnet School.

The Tigerettes play next at 11:40 versus Stewarts Creek.

Forrest takes on Coffee County and MCHS plays Columbia at 1 p.m., while the Lady Dawgs take a two game rest.

Forrest's Katie Warrick is mobbed at home plate after bashing a home run versus Cascade last year.

At 3:40 p.m., all three squads take to the diamond as the Lady Rockets play Bledsoe County, while the Tigerettes finish up with Tullahoma and Cornersville matches up versus Stewarts Creek.

Forrest will have their final game at 5 p.m. versus Grundy County, while the Lady Dawgs end their day with a game versus Cascade at 6:20 p.m.
