Andrea Herring, 52, of Chapel Hill, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Chapel Hill.
Mrs. Herring was born in Phoenix, Ariz. and was a daughter of Charles Lindberg Emmons and the late Helen Louise Short Emmons. She was a homemaker and formerly was a teacher's aide in Fayetteville. Before moving to Tennessee, Mrs. Herring was employed with the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lick Skillet, Tenn. and also attended Calvary Fellowship in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Herring is survived by her husband, Kevin Herring of Chapel Hill; daughter, Karlie Herring of Chapel Hill; son, Walker Herring of Chapel Hill; father, Charles Lindberg Emmons of Arizona; sister, Diane (Mark) Bowen of Colorado; brother, Chuck (Lisa) Emmons of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration Service of the Life of Mrs. Herring was held Sunday, March 19, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Smith officiating.
