Lucy Ann Zemaitaitis, a native of Connecticut, has been living in the Lynnville area for the last seven years.

Mrs. Zemaitaitis was born Oct. 18, 1916, the oldest of seven children, in the village of Fonda, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Rosano Angelo. She was a homemaker and her caregiver-granddaughter Debbie Wolaver and family will always remember her as a fun-loving grandmother who loved to play bingo, drink her coffee, and watch the birds and squirrels outside her window. Her favorite pets, Karma and Zero, were a great joy in her life.

In addition to her granddaughter, Debbie Wolaver, she is survived by one daughter, Helen Smith of Cornersville; a son, Joseph A. Zemaitaitis of Alamogordo, N.M.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She died Friday, April 11, 2014, at NHC Oakwood where she was very well cared for and loved.

Her body was conveyed to Cody-White Funeral Service in Milford, Conn. for services which were conducted on Tuesday, April 15.
