Softball camp set at UT-Martin
MARTIN, Tenn. -- The University of Tennessee at Martin softball program will host a two-day Exposure and Skills Development Camp for players from age 13 to graduating
high school seniors on Monday, June 10, and Tuesday, June 11, at Bettye Giles Softball Field in Skyhawk Park.
"Participating in softball camp is an opportunity to learn the individual fundamentals and team concepts necessary to excel," writes Head Coach Donley Canary. "Our softball camp will focus on developing the proper work ethic as well as creating the proper mental attitude. Providing campers with the opportunity to reach their potential and increase their knowledge of the game is what our camp is all about."
The camp will include two full days of instruction, with campers grouped by age and ability. Campers will work on hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and scrimmaging.
Cost of the camp includes a T-shirt and insurance coverage; pre-registration is required.
