From Staff Reports

Owners of old and new cars, trucks and motorcycles are invited to bring their pride and joy to the square in Lewisburg Saturday afternoon, starting at 4 p.m., for the Marshall County Old Car Club's Cruise-In.

Now separated from the Lewisburg Downtown Alliance's Sidewalk Saturdays, Cruise-Ins are planned for the last Saturday of every month until September.

"Bring your ride to show off and visit with other 'Car Nuts' or just to see the beautiful old antique cars and trucks," says MCOCC's announcement. "There will be something for everyone from antique cars and trucks to new cars and motorcycles, and maybe even a few race cars. All kinds welcome and appreciated."

Thanks to sponsorship from a local dealership, there will be free food, drinks and prizes.

So whether you bring a vehicle or not, the Lewisburg square is the place to be Saturday afternoon. You can learn something about America's rich automotive history, admire beautiful restoration jobs, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones.

See you there!
