Arrested on warrants for aggravated assault and aggravated burglary

* Samuel E. Shropshier, 52, Cornersville. Bond: $15,000; court date: June 24. Shropshier allegedly hit his victim in the head with a pickaxe handle while they were outside the victim's house. After the victim went into the home, Shropshier pushed his way in, and hit the victim several more times. Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Drew Binkley reported the deep cut on the victim's head was almost two inches long.

* Willie L. Lumpkin, 52, Cummings Circle. Bond: $7,500; court date: July 7.

Arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault

* Jared C. McKnight, 32, Maiden Lane. Bond: $7,500; court date: June 16.

Arrested and charged with domestic assault

* Christy L. McPeak, 45, Chapel Hill. Bond and court date not stated. Also charged with theft over $5,000. After a physical altercation, McPeak allegedly took her victim's car, and was driving it when Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Michael Burgess stopped her.

* Stephen R. Hargrove, 44, Maple Street. Bond: $3,000; court date: July 7. Also charged with interference with an emergency call.

Arrested and charged with simple assault

* James D. Henry, 61, Cornersville. Bond: $2,000; court date: July 7. Also charged with public intoxication. Henry was served with a written ban notice from Walgreens because he allegedly threatened one of the cashiers, after becoming agitated over the price of beer, according to the report by Lewisburg Police Officer Mike Davis, who found Henry stumbling across the ball field at Jones Park with a 24-ounce beer in his hand.

Arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for resale

* Stephon D. Gleaves, 21, Monroe Street. Bond: $4,000; court date: July 8. Also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts and vandalism reported

* In two separate thefts, items worth $1,425 were stolen from a property on Williams Road, Cornersville. The missing items include 14 vehicle batteries (four of which were good), a gearbox from a grain elevator, some scrap metal, an aerator, and three horse-drawn cultivators.

* Two air conditioning units, worth a total of $1,200, were stolen from a rental property on Finley Beech Road sometime before May 26. The victim said the former tenant confessed to stealing the units.

* The night of June 1, a Bersa Thunder 3800 .380 caliber pistol in a black hard case was taken from a home on New Columbia Road. The gun and case together are worth $375. The victim's son gave Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Drew Binkley the name of a suspect.

* Tennessee tag K35-55J, worth $74, was reported missing on June 4. The victim told Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Lori Haynes the tag disappeared between June 1, when he was at the airport in Nashville, and June 2, when he returned to Chapel Hill, but he was unsure whether it fell off the vehicle or was stolen.

* A Lewisburg man told police when he filed his taxes, the IRS put a hold on his return because another person had filed using the same Social Security number. The IRS has since cleared the matter up, but the victim wanted a police report on file.

* A Lewisburg woman reported to police the name of a man she did not know appeared with hers on some paperwork from the IRS. She was told by the IRS this man had filed a joint 2013 return with her, but she has not filed a tax return since 2010.

Arrested on a warrant for escape

* Larry D. Reeves, 43, Thomas Avenue. Bond: $1,000; court date: June 10. Reeves was granted a furlough from Marshall County Jail, but failed to report back at the required time, wrote Jail Administrator Sabrina Patterson in her warrant. Reeves was picked up an hour later in Lewisburg "in a highly intoxicated state."

* William J. Holder, 73, Marshall Street. Bond: $2,000; court date: July 14.

Arrested and charged with public intoxication

* William L. Bess, 51, Marshall Street. Bond: $500; court date: July 14. Bess was also served with two criminal summons for assault, and on these the court date is July 7.

* Anthony D. Turner, 46, Woodlawn Avenue. Bond: $500; court date: June 16.

Arrested and charged with criminal impersonation

* Eric L. Jones, 30, Jerre Lane. Bond : $4,000; court date: July 14. Also charged with simple possession of marijuana. Jones also had a violation-of-probation warrant.

* Clifton J. Stansbury, 25, Hendersonville. Bond: $2,000; court date: July 15. Charge: violation of the sex offender registry law.

* Levell A. Love Quezaire, 23, Mt. Lebanon Road. Bond: $1,000; court date: July 15. Charge: failure to appear.

* Eric L. Jones, 30, Jerre Lane. Bond: $500; court date: July 8. Charge: violation of probation.
