Bernard Lee Davis, 86, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at his son's home in Winchester, Tenn.

Mr. Davis was a native of Petersburg, and son of the late Claud B. and Virginia Park Davis. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He retired from Lewisburg Electric System after 38 years of service as a meter reader. He was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for several years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Coreen Renegar Davis.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Rogers, and son-in-law, Morris of Winchester; son, Randal Davis, and daughter-in-law Sandy, also of Winchester; sister, Melba Price of Cornersville; brother, Thurman Davis, and sister-in-law Peggy of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 7, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Medium Cemetery in Delina.

London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
